For The Entre et Cour et Jardins Festival, Sébastien Roux proposed 4 sound pieces that punctuate the evening, behaving like intermissions between each performance. Each interlude was an electronic composition played by two loudspeakers positioned at the edge of the forest nearby.
Prelude: 11 sinewaves played successively, tuned to the following frequencies : 150 210 330 390 510 570 690 870 930 1110 1230 Hz. 7’20.
Interlude 1: within a 5 seconds pattern, all 2 part combinations of the same 11 sinewaves. 4’35
Interlude 2: within a two and half second pattern, all 3 part combinations of the same 11 sinewaves. 6’50
Coda: within a 5 seconds patterns, all 4 part combinations of the same 11 sinewaves. 27’47
